CHICAGO — A married couple's lawsuit against Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush LLC; David N. Garras, M.D.; and Morgan Holt, PA, alleges a woman suffered injuries to her foot following surgery.
Jennifer Neslund and Frederick Neslund filed a complaint on Dec. 9 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to Jennifer Neslund.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege Neslund sustained injuries to her foot and toes. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to remove post-surgical dressings on her foot, which caused decreased blood flow.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. They are represented by Bradley N. Pollock of Walsh, Knippen, Pollock & Cetina, in Wheaton.
