CHICAGO — A professional soccer player is suing Grand Sports Arena LLC, d/b/a Chicago Mustangs Pro; MASL Soccer LLC, d/b/a Major Arena Soccer League and/or MASL Soccer Pro; and Mustangs president/CEO/head coach Armando Gamboa, with allegations against the various parties including failure to pay wages, retaliation and breach of contract.

Adolfo Bautista Herrera filed a complaint on Jan. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against the defendants, alleging that he was not paid in keeping with an agreement and was terminated after complaining.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained damages from the alleged pay violations and termination. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to pay him in keeping with a contract and for ending his employment after he made several requests to be paid.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants for all amounts owed, and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Alejandro Caffarelli and Alexis D. Martin of Caffarelli & Associates Ltd. in Chicago.
