CHICAGO — A woman is suing Dr. Michael Appiagyei, of Chicago, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.
Latisha Murphy, as special administrator of the estate of Mary Murphy, filed a complaint on Jan. 12 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Appiagyei, alleging the physician failed to provide proper medical care to Mary Murphy.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Murphy
experienced pain from having developed pressure ulcers.
holds Appiagyei responsible because he allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to Murphy to decrease the chances of her developing pressure ulcer.
requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against
