CHICAGO — A contractor is suing Reel Deal Inc., which does business as Mars Bar, and associated individuals and entities, including Maria E. Martinez, Mario Martinez, Mariano Martinez, Juan O. Castaneda and Waterfall Olympic Master Fund Grantor Trust Series II, as well as others, citing alleged breach of contract.
German Guerrero filed a complaint on Jan. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging they failed to pay the plaintiff for demolition and construction work.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he sustained damages from not being paid. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for his labor and fixtures.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $138,356 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by David Richardson of Nery & Richardson LLC in Chicago.
