CHICAGO — A woman's family is suing a Niles nursing facility, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Gloria Flores, an independent administrator of the estate of Rosa Amador Flores, filed a complaint on Feb. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against Generations at Regency LLC, which does business as Regency Rehabilitation Center LLC; Atied Associates LLC; Bradlor Management Inc.; Brysson Care Inc.; S.I.R. Management Inc.; and three individuals, alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to Rosa Flores.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Flores suffered a head injury requiring surgical repair and developed pressure ulcers. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to prevent her from falling or developing pressure ulcers.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Michael Silverman of Horwitz, Horwitz, and Associates, Ltd. in Chicago.
