Environmental Cleansing Corporation allegedly breached contract

CHICAGO — A labor group is suing Environmental Cleansing Corporation for alleged breach of contract.

Central Laborers' Pension Fund, Central Laborers' Welfare Fund and Central Laborers' Annuity Fund filed a lawsuit on March 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois alleging the defendant failed to pay contributions to the plaintiffs based on their bargaining agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege they sustained damages due to unpaid contributions. The plaintiffs hold the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to make timely payments for its benefit contributions.

The plaintiffs seek to enjoin the defendant and recover all unpaid contributions, liquidated damages, audit costs, interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Cecilia M. Scanlon and Stephen J. Rosenblat of Baum Sigman Auerbach & Neuman Ltd. in Chicago.
