CHICAGO — A man is suing 5 Rabbit Cerveceria Inc., of Bedford Park, citing alleged breach of contract for failing to make good on a loan.

Abraham Ovadia, who lives in Mexico, filed a complaint on April 27 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against the brewery alleging it failed to pay the plaintiff back for a loan.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he was damaged financially due to the default on the loan. The plaintiff holds 5 Rabbit Cerveceria responsible because the company allegedly failed to pay the principal amount of its debt to the plaintiff despite several demands.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $220,000 plus interest and court costs. He is represented by Donald J. Angelini Jr. of Angelini & Ori LLC in Chicago.
