CHICAGO — A widower is suing Glenview Terrace Nursing Center, ITEX/AK Care Company, and JLR Financial Services Corp., alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent a former patient's skin condition.
Robert Groh, as independent administrator of the estate of Anne Groh, filed a complaint on May 24 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging they failed to provide proper care to Anne Groh, who developed pressure sores. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to Anne Groh to prevent her from developing pressure sores.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants. He is represented by Steven M. Levin and Nicole T. Schroeder of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
