CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago Foundation, an Illinois corporation, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Luigi Mandile, as independent administrator of the estate of Rosario Mandile, filed a complaint on June 7 in the Cook County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide proper care to Rosario Mandile.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Rosario Mandile experienced pain from choking on his food, which resulted in hypoxic brain damage, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure and eventually caused his death. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate supervision to Rosario Mandile in order to prevent him from choking on her food.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $50,000. He is represented by Sean P. Murray of Taxman, Pollock, Murray and Bekkerman LLC in Chicago.
