CHICAGO — A labor group and an administrative manager are suing Morcom Construction Company for alleged breach of contract.
Iron Workers' Mid-America Pension Plan, Iron Workers' Mid-America Supplemental Monthly Annuity (SMA) Fund and Joseph J. Burke filed a complaint on June 26 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging the defendant failed to remit its employees' contribution.
The court filing, however, did not specify how much money is allegedly owed.
The plaintiffs seek all delinquent monthly contribution reports, unpaid contributions, liquidated damages, audit costs, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Catherine M. Chapman and Patrick N. Ryan of Baum Sigman Auerbach & Neuman Ltd. in Chicago.
