CHICAGO — A man is suing several doctors and healthcare providers for allegedly failing to diagnose him with Crohn's disease.

Doctors Michael A. Ruchim, Mark C. Chien, Noel A. Debacker, Charles D. Dillon, Andrew B. Repasy and James H. Sipkins, as well as Affiliated Physicians of Suite 118, Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and University Associates in Internal Medicine S.C., have been listed as defendants in the suit.

Jeffrey Fagan filed the complaint on July 10 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide him with proper medical care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he experienced pain from suffering, disability, disfigurement and emotional distress after the defendants allegedly failed to diagnose and treat him for Crohn's disease. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to diagnose his condition and provide him with the necessary treatment.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Raymond C. Steadmon of McKeen & Associates P.C. in Kalamazzo, Mich.
