CHICAGO — A man is suing Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Presence Central and Suburban Hospitals, Presence Behavioral Health, Kathleen McGann and other unidentified employees of Presence St. Joseph Medical Center for alleged breach of duty and negligence.

John Doe filed a complaint on July 10 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants wrongfully disclosed his confidential information.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges his confidential information was disclosed without his consent to the mother of his children. The plaintiff claims the defendants revealed to the woman that he was in their behavioral health unit. The mother then allegedly filed for a protective order against him.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court, interest and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Justin M. Weinrich of The Weinrich Law Firm LLC in Crystal Lake.
