CHICAGO — The family of a deceased patient is suing Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers and doctors WIlliam Kcomt, Almaz Abdyrakov and George Havelka for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent his death.

Victor Carr, independent administrator of the estate of Tommy Carr, filed a complaint on July 6 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to provide Tommy Carr with proper medical care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Carr suffered a blockage in his aorta, the largest artery in the human body, which the plaintiff claims led to Carr's death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to diagnose Carr's condition and apply the necessary treatment.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that will adequately compensate the plaintiff for his damages. He is represented by Michael S. Shinsky and Erin R. Doyle of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
