CHICAGO — An employee has filed a class action lawsuit against Jashi Inc., which does business as Rosati's Pizza of River Grove, and Nirav C. Patel for alleged unpaid wages and violation of workers' compensation acts.
Jose Francisco Duran-Gomez filed the complaint on Aug. 1 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois alleging the defendants failed to properly compensate him and other employees for their work, failing to pay overtime for work performed after working more than 40 hours per week.
The plaintiff seeks unpaid overtime compensation, statutory interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Timothy M. Nolan of Nolan Law Office in Chicago.
