CHICAGO — An African-American man is suing Chipotle Mexican Grill for alleged racial discrimination.
David Finney Jr. filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging he endured racist comments directed at him during his employment.
The plaintiff alleges, instead of defending him, the defendant allegedly terminated his employment.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks injunction against the defendant, lost pay, forgone and future wages, consequential, compensatory, punitive and other damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Lisa Kane & Associates in Chicago.
