CHICAGO — A former employee is suing Excel Security Services Inc. for alleged discrimination, wrongful termination and alleged violations of civil rights, federal law and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Bruce Francis Jr. filed a complaint on Aug. 3 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, alleging the defendants terminated his employment when he attempted to return to work after taking a leave of absence to undergo surgery for pancreatic cancer.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks back pay, front pay, compensatory damages, punitive damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Michael F. Tomasek of Tomasek Law Office LLC in Braidwood.
