CHICAGO — A man is suing Illinois Bone and Joint Institute LLC, Lake Cook Orthopedic Associates, Dr. David Norbeck Jr. and Dr. Mark Gross for alleged medical negligence.
Chester B. Ryndak filed a complaint on a April 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants misdiagnosed the pain in his right leg and performed a lumbar decompression surgery that he claims he didn't need. The plaintiff alleges he got a second opinion, and an x-ray allegedly revealed he had a fractured right hip prosthesis and needed a different surgical procedure to relieve his pain.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of the court. He is represented by Randall F. Peters of Randall F. Peters & Associates in Chicago.
