Melissa Gold Selected to the Young Leadership Division of the Jewish United Fund

Melissa Gold has been selected to join the Young Leadership Division of the Jewish United Fund’s Board of Directors in Chicago. JUF board of director members are selected as the “next generation of Jewish leaders in Chicago."

The Young Leadership Division of the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago is committed to building a better Jewish community in Chicago, Israel, and throughout the world. They achieve this mission by raising funds for JUF's agencies and initiatives, and by offering a variety of educational, leadership and social events for young adults between the ages of 22 and 40ish. The Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago is the one organization that impacts every aspect of local and global Jewish life, providing human services for Jews and others in need, creating Jewish experiences and strengthening Jewish community connections.

In 2020 Melissa was named to Oy!Chicago's Jewish 36 Under 36 list. She currently serves as a member of the Lincoln Park Zoo Auxiliary Board, Public Interest Law Initiative Young Professional Board, and JUF Young Lawyers Group Committee. She formerly served as a member of the Decalogue Society of Lawyers Board of Managers and University of Illinois College of Law Alumni Board. Melissa will  serve on YLD's Board alongside her brother Matt Gold, a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division.
