George Mesires will discuss best practices to follow when difficult circumstances push a community outside the parameters of agreements with bondholders or bank lenders. George will provide practical advice on how to effectively communicate, and if necessary negotiate, with bondholders and how to create a plan to move forward beyond the current difficult circumstances. George will focus the content of his presentation on the three following points:
- Best practices in communicating to bondholders and lenders.
- Examples of how others have navigated covenant challenges.
- Differences between time-limited challenges and larger, financially-distressed situations.
