A man is suing over allegations he was injured in an explosion while removing scaffolding from premises.
Stefan Kogut filed a lawsuit Dec. 10 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Magdalene Markowski and Dynamic Remodeling Solutions Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Markowski owns a premises at 8734 Kimball Ave. in Chicago. Kogut claims he was at the premises to remove scaffolding on Dec. 12, 2011, when an explosion of a flammable substance occurred, causing injures.
He is seeking a judgement in excess of $50,000 and is being represented in the case by attorneys from Chepov & Scott LLC.
