Benjamin Casey filed suit Nov. 12 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Reliance Tool and MFG Co., doing business as RTM Franklin Park Group LLC.
According to the complaint, Casey was at RTM at 11333 Melorse Ave. in Franklin Park, when he was injured. He claims he was making a delivery/pickup of goods at the defendant's property in the load/unloading area when he was struck in the leg with a spring loaded dock leveler.
He contends he was severely injured as a result of the defendant's negligence.
Casey is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented by Naperville attorney Jonathan P. Crannell.
