Kalcheim Haber LLP filed a lawsuit Aug. 23 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Violetta Jaskula, citing breach of contract, breach of oral contract, quantum meruit and unjust enrichment.
According to the complaint, the defendant retained the plaintiff on July 12, 2012 to represent her in parentage, eviction and replevin proceedings. The firm claims the defendant has failed and refused to pay for its legal services
Kalcheim Haber LLP is seeking $107,820.34, the defendant's outstanding balance, in damages, plus costs and interest. The firm is represented by Kalcheim Haber LLP.
