DoubleTree hotel in Oak Brook named in negligence lawsuit

Rene Trujillo-Cerna filed suit Nov. 27 in the Cook County Circuit Court against PHF Oak Brook LLC, Pyramid/Contrarian Management LLC and Hilton Worldwide Inc.

According to the complaint, Trujillo-Cerna was injured in June 2012 when she slipped and fell at the at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago-Oak Brook hotel at 1909 Spring Road in Oak Brook.

Trujillo-Cerna claims she was traversing the service ramp at the DoubleTree when she encountered grease or some other slippery substance and fell when she stepped on the substance.

She is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. She is being represented by Brion W. Doherty.
