A woman is suing a taxi cab service and driver over a trip and fall incident

Judy Kostel filed a lawsuit Dec. 16 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Nect 4 Inc. and Adrian L. Tudor, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, the defendants were doing business as a taxi cab service. Kostel claims she was in Tudor's cab on Oct. 16, when she was injured after he allowed a seat belt from the front passenger's seat to hang on the floor in the back seat which caused her to trip and fall.

She is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit and is being represented in the case by attorney Dean J. Caras.
