A woman is suing over a trip and fall incident that she claims occurred while visiting an Evanston gas station.

Diane Love filed a lawsuit Nov. 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against Evanston Gas & Food Inc., Subhash Malhotra, Equilon Enterprises LLC, doing business as Shell Oil Products US, The Lyden Co., True North Holdings Inc., doing business as The Lyden Co., and True North Energy LLC.

According to the complaint, the defendants owned, operated, managed, maintained or controlled a gas station and food mart at 101 Ridge Ave. in Evanston.

Love claims she was a customer at the gas station on Feb. 25, 2012 and was walking on the pavement near gas pump number five when she tripped and fell over uneven pavement in the area, causing injuries.

She is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit and is being represented in the case by attorney Alice E. Dolan of Alice E. Dolan & Associates.
