A Target employee is suing over claims she was injured after slipping on liquid.

Alma Ramos filed a lawsuit Feb. 25 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Carlson Building Maintenance Inc., Eurest Services Inc. and Kimco Facilities Services Corp., citing negligence.

The complaint states Ramos was an employee at Target at 1001 Sutton Road in Streamwood on March 10, 2012, when she slipped and fell on liquid that was applied to the floor by the defendants.

She claims the defendants acted negligently, which caused her injury.

Ramos is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by Marc Trevino and Samuel Briones of Briones, Harvey & Trevino.
