A Cook County woman is suing the driver and owner of a car that crashed into her vehicle.
Jennifer Watson filed a lawsuit March 31 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Austin Grossi and Steven Grossi, citing negligence.
Watson claims she suffered injuries on May 1, 2012, when the defendants' vehicle collided with her vehicle in the 9700 block of 159th St. at Lakeview Plaza exit. According to the suit, Austin failed to yield the right of way to Watson and didn't come to a complete stop when emerging from the road he was on, causing the accident.
The suit alleges Steven Grossi carelessly entrusted his vehicle to Austin Grossi.
Watson is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Chicago attorney Timothy M. Whiting of Whiting Law Group Ltd.
