Now-shuttered Logan Square nightclub faces suit from patron who slipped on water

A patron of former nightclub on Milwaukee Avenue is suing over an alleged slip and fall incident.

Nakisha Lee filed a lawsuit April 25 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Club 2047 LLC, doing business as V-Live Nightclub, citing negligence.

The complaint states Lee was at V-Live Nightclub at 2047 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago, on April 28, 2012, when she slipped and fell on water. She claims she sustained injuries as a result of the defendant's negligence.

Lee is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented by Chicago Stephen J. McMullen.
