A Cook County woman is suing the driver of a car involved in a collision she claims killed her daughter.
Nora Christakis, as special administrator of the Estate of Bianca Christakis, filed a wrongful death suit May 9 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Ismael and Teresa Garcia.
According to the complaint, Bianca was a passenger in a vehicle owned by Teresa Garcia and driven by Ismael Garcia on Jan. 23, 2013 near Laramie and Roosevelt streets in Cicero. Christakis claims Ismael's negligence caused the vehicle to collide with a cement median, causing Bianca's death.
Christakis is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorneys at Condon & Cook LLC.
