A woman is suing over claims she was injured on uneven sidewalk in Wilmette.

According to the complaint, Rubin was walking on the sidewalk at the northwest corner of Skokie Boulevard and Lake Avenue in Wilmette on Sept. 29, when she tripped on a steep incline between two slabs of the sidewalk and sustained injuries.

Rubin claims the defendants are responsible for the maintenance and control of the sidewalk and failed to correct the hazard.

The suit alleges premises liability and is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. She is being represented in the case by attorney Edward M. Rubin of Rubin Machado & Rosenblum Ltd.
