A man is suing over claims his former employer failed to pay his sales commission.
Dean Batogowski filed a lawsuit May 27 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Mediamax Networks LLC, alleging unpaid wages.
According to the complaint, Batogowski was employed by the defendant as an account manager and was promised commission based on advertising sales, which he claims the defendant has failed to pay.
Batogowski is seeking lost wages and damages plus interest, attorney's fees and a declaration the defendant violated the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act. He is being represented in the case by attorney Ryan F. Stephan of Stephan Zouras LLP.
