A Fox Lake man is suing over allegations he was injured by the negligence of a Metra employee.

Robert Hoffman filed a lawsuit June 3 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Northeast Illinois Regional Commuter Railroad Corp., doing business as Metra.

Hoffman is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Matthew J. Coleman of Ridge & Downes.
