Bryanoconnor

The daughter of a man who died is suing a nursing home she claims was negligent.

Denise Mlotek, as executor of the Estate of Thomas F. Browne, filed a lawsuit May 20 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Providence Management & Development Company Inc., Rest Haven Illiana Christian Convalescent Home and Providence Palos Heights LLC doing business as Providence Palos Heights.

The lawsuit states Browne was admitted to Providence Palos Heights for physical therapy on May 21, 2012, after being discharged from the hospital following treatment and other medical conditions. Mlotek claims Browne fell

at the nursing home and sustained a fracture to his right hip, leading to his Oct. 20, 2013 death.

Mlotek is seeking an amount in excess of the court’s jurisdictional limits that will adequately compensate her for injuries, losses and damages. She is being represented by Bryan O’Connor of the O’Connor Law Group LLC.
