Suburban hospital faces suit over woman's alleged parking garage fall

A woman is suing an area hospital over allegations its negligence led her to fall in a parking garage.

Glenda Abbott filed a lawsuit May 20 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Arlington Heights-based Northwest Community Hospital.

She claims she was walking through the third floor of the hospital's parking structure on June 11, 2012, when she fell and sustained injuries.

Abbott is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented by Albert F. Ferolie of the Law Office of Albert F. Ferolie P.C.
