Man lodges suit against insurance companies over water damage claim

By Annie Cosby | Jul 23, 2014

A Cook County man is suing over claims his insurance company has refused to compensate him for water damage to his home.

Agron Bojku filed a lawsuit July 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Fidelity National Property and Casualty Insurance Co., Stillwater Property and Casualty Insurance Co., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Bojku's home on West Howard Avenue in Skokie  sustained water damage on June 20, 2013 that he alleges was covered under his insurance policy with Fidelity. Bojku claims the company denied his claim Nov. 26, and falsely accused him of fraudulent conduct without basis.

Bojku is seeking damages and attorney's fees. He is being represented in the case by attorney Larry E. Bache Jr. of Merlin Law Group P.A. in Tampa, Fla.
