A Chicago-based consulting firm is suing a company it claims has failed to pay more than $60,000 for the work it did on projects.

SR4 Partners filed a complaint Nov. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against Kahn Creative Partners Inc., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the defendant was under contract with SR4 Partners for consulting services as of 2010. The plaintiff contends Kahn Creative Partners paid  $750,000 in fees and expenses, but still owes $61,336.17 for its work on projects for which the defendant had been hired by Eli Lily & Co.

SR4 Partners is seeking the $61,336.17 it asserts is owed, as well as court costs and interest, and is represented by attorney Scott P. Clair of Chicago.
