Woman's slip on pudding leads to lawsuit

Pudding 150x150

A chain of grocery stores is facing a lawsuit from a customer who claims she sustained injuries after slipping on "white pudding" while shopping.

Agnes Khoshaba sued Aldi Inc. Jan. 5 in the Cook County Circuit Court over the fall she asserts occurred on Jan. 7, 2013 at the Aldi on Oakton Street in Skokie.

According to the complaint, Khoshaba "slipped and fell on white pudding covering the floor adjacent to the freezer area." She claims Aldi knew or should have known the presence of pudding on the floor created a dangerous condition, but failed to remove it or post warnings.

Khoshaba alleges she sustained severe injuries as a direct result of the defendant's alleged negligence in maintaining the premises. She is seeking $50,000 in damages and is represented by Robert A. Langendorf P.C. in Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015L000052.
