A Cook County woman is suing Sears, Roebuck Co. over claims she was injured when an overhead door closed on top of her in March 2013.
Temetria Stemley filed a lawsuit March 9 in Cook County Circuit Court against Sears citing negligence for injuries she suffered on March 10, 2013, when an overhead door "closed on her head, neck and/or back."
Stemley is seeking damages in excess of $150,000, plus costs.
The plaintiff is represented by Alberts, Curran and Eiler, P.C., of Chicago.
