A Cook County woman is suing a restaurant and its owner for injuries she suffered in a fall on a doormat.
According to a lawsuit filed March 12 in Cook County Circuit Court, Floretta McCray is suing Dung Cong Luong, as agent of D-Benny's Grill, who allegedly should be responsible for McCray's fall on Aug. 18, 2014, on a floor mat in the doorway at the business, at 1005 W. Argyle St.
McCray seeks damages in excess of $50,000.
The plaintiff is represented by Peter Vlantis of Argionis and Associates of Chicago.
