A woman is suing over claims that she was injured in the aisles of a Walmart store.

Sharion Henry filed a lawsuit Aug. 12 in Cook County Circuit Cook against Wal-Mart Stores Inc., citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Henry was shopping at Walmart's store, located at 5630 W. Touhy Ave. in Niles on Aug. 19, 2013, when she was struck by an employee with a flatbed merchandise cart, causing her to incur injuries both temporary and permanent to her head, body, mind, limbs and nervous system.

Henry is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional minimum and the costs of this suit for Walmart’s negligence to not warn her of the aforementioned hazard, the claim states.

She is being represented by Pope and Jaburek in Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015L008270.
