A woman is suing over claims that she was injured in the aisles of a Chicago Dollar General store.

Hanan Faraj filed a lawsuit Aug. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Cook against Dollar General, a division of DG Retail, LLC citing negligence.

According to the claim, Faraj was legally shopping at a Dollar General Store at 5627 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago on Sept. 30, 2014, when she slipped and fell on a wet undetected substance on the floor, resulting in injuries to her left knee, left leg, left arm and right shoulder, requiring her to expend money for medical care and treatment.

Faraj is seeking damages – plus the demand of a jury – of more than $50,000 for damages suffered, costs, interests, and any other relief allowed by law for Dollar General’s negligence to not tend to the slippery floor upon which Faraj slipped and incurred injury, the claim states.

She is being represented by the Law Offices of Haytham Faraj in Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015L008360.
