A man is suing another patron and Chasers Bar and Grill after he was allegedly injured.

Steven Lebrecht filed a lawsuit Aug. 18 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Chasers Bar and Grill Inc. in conjunction with manager Peter Dalamangas and Matthew Cameron, citing negligence.

According to the claim, both Dalamangas and Cameron practiced careless judgement on the early morning of Sept. 25, 2014, at Chasers Bar and Grill, located at 9003 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Niles, when a situation between Cameron – who was served enough alcoholic beverages to become intoxicated – and Lebrecht developed into an incident where Cameron struck Lebrecht, causing him to suffer severe and permanent injuries, both externally and internally, which has hindered his overall lifestyle.

Lebrecht is seeking damages of more than $50,000 plus the costs of this suit for Cameron’s and Dalamanga’s overall negligence to not further apprehend the circumstances, the claim states.

He is being represented by Robert S. Fakhouri of Goldberg Weisman Cairo in Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015L008451.
