Construction worker alleges negligence caused on-the-job injuries

Injury

A Cook County man is suing several contractors, alleging negligence caused workplace injuries.

David Logothetti filed a lawsuit Sept. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court against Globex Developments Inc. doing business as Glenview Custom Homes, Ultimate Foundation Company Inc., Krueger's Concrete and Excavation Inc. and Original Concrete Pumping Service Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the suit, on Sept. 12, 2013, Logothetti was injured by a falling pipe as he attempted to deliver a load of cement at a work site in Glenview. The suit says the defendants knew or should have known about the safety issues onsite and were negligent by allowing the plaintiff to work in unsafe conditions.

Logothetti seeks damages of more than $50,000 to compensate for injuries, lost work time and medical expenses, plus litigation costs. He is represented by attorney Andrew P. Leonard of the Leonard Law Group in Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015-L-009416.
