CHICAGO — A Cook County woman is suing a Honda dealership over injuries she says she suffered during a fall on the premises.

Careese Anderson filed a lawsuit Feb. 1 in Cook County Circuit Court against River Oaks Honda Inc. and River Oaks Imports Inc., doing business as Napleton River Oaks Honda, alleging premises liability.

According to the complaint, Anderson was at River Oaks Imports at 17220 Torrence Ave. in Lansing on Feb. 1, 2014, when she slipped and fell on a puddle of liquid. The suit says River Oaks was negligent in allowing unsafe conditions at the dealership, causing Anderson to suffer injuries and incur medical expenses.

Anderson seeks damages in excess of $50,000, plus legal costs. She is represented by attorney Andrew J. Fink of the Solis Law Firm P.C. in Cicero.
