CHICAGO — A man is suing several health-care providers, alleging medical negligence.
Justin Bojan is suing VHS Of Illinois Inc., MacNeal Hospital, Dr. Jeffrey Zawacki, Suburban Surgical Associates Ltd., Dr. Bharti Raizada and CRNAs Josephine Wairna and Renata Sobey, CRNA, claiming he was improperly positioned during sigmoid colon resection surgery on Feb. 27, 2014, and suffered a neurological injury to his left arm.
Bojan sued on Feb. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, claiming he has suffered pain; was and will be hindered from attending to usual duties and affairs; and has expended and will expend money for related medical care.
The plaintiff seeks compensation for an amount in excess of $50,000 plus the costs of suit. He is represented by Edward M. Rubin of Rubin Machado & Rosenblum, Ltd. in Chicago.
