Patient accuses plastic surgeon of negligence

CHICAGO — A patient is suing an Elk Grove plastic surgeon, alleging negligence caused her pain and expense. 

CHICAGO — A patient is suing an Elk Grove plastic surgeon, alleging negligence caused her pain and expense. 

Margaret Gotti filed a lawsuit April 14, in Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Stephen A. Madry and Reconstructive & Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Elk Grove, alleging they failed to exercise due care in medical and surgical care.

According to the complaint, on April 17, 2014, Gotti sustained a loss of tissue during breast surgery, which required multiple surgeries that caused her pain and medical expenses. The plaintiff alleges Madry and Reconstructive & Aesthetic performed a breast oncoplasty and a left breast reduction in a careless and negligent manner.


Gotti seeks trial by jury and damages of more than $50,000. She is represented by attorney Michael Radtke of Radtke & Nusbaum in Chicago.
