CHICAGO — A patient is suing a Bridgeview rehabilitation center, alleging negligence caused him to suffer injuries.

Robert W. Blood filed a lawsuit May 23 in Cook County Circuit Court against Midway Neurological and Rehabilitation Center LLC, alleging negligence in failing to provide adequate medical care.

According to the complaint, between Oct. 17- Nov. 6, 2014, Blood sustained injuries from a series of falls at the Bridgeview facility that required him to undergo a total left hip arthroplasty. The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to keep its facilities safe and failed to provide proper care and timely medical assistance to the patient.

Blood seeks more than $50,000, plus court cost. He is represented by attorney Carl S. Salvato of Salvato & O'Toole in Chicago.
