Son blames Palos Heights health providers for mother's death

CHICAGO — A son is suing a group of health care providers, alleging their negligence caused his mother's death.

Richard E. Przybylski Jr., individually and as executor of the estate of Geraldine Przybylski, filed a complaint on May 27, in the Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Daniel J. O'Reilly, O'Reilly Medical Consultants S.C., O'Reilly Gastroenterology Consultants LLC, Palos Community Hospital, Dr. Mary Kanashiro, Dr. Rick A. Chadha, Alpha Med Physicians Group LLC, Dr. Daniel A. Pacella, Dr. Kantilal Chandarana, Dr. Nancy Putnam, Dr. Aris Musabji, Dr. James Draguesku, Palos Medical Group LLC and Dr. Ronald Hamburger, alleging negligence and medical malpractice. 

According to the complaint, between June 4-8, 2014, Geraldine Przybylski suffered severe physical injuries including the infarction of her intestine which resulted or contributed to her death June 8. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to perform the necessary procedures on Geraldine Przybylski in a timely manner to avoid further complications to her already existing condition.

Richard Przybylski seeks judgment of at least $100,000 against each defendant. He is represented by attorney Mark P. Munninghoff of Munday & Nathan in Chicago.
