CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased woman's estate is suing Alden-Wentworth Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Inc., d/b/a Alden Wentworth Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Alden Wentworth LLC, d/b/a Alden-Wentworth LLC, and Alden Management Services, Inc., in a wrongful death claim alleging negligence in nursing home care.

Colleen Quinlisk-Siau, as independent administrator of the estate of Teryl Triplett, filed a complaint on June 29 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Teryl Triplett.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Triplett developed pressure sores that contributed to and/or caused her death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to Triplett and make sure that she was repositioned to avoid developing pressure sores.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000. She is represented by Margaret P. Battersby Black and Jacob D. Radecki of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
