Couple seek damages in medical case

CHICAGO — A couple's lawsuit against Shaun O' Leary, M.D.; NCH Medical Group Inc.; Northwest Community Healthcare d/b/a Northwest Community Hospital; and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, alleges negligence in medical care.

CHICAGO — A couple's lawsuit against Shaun O' Leary, M.D.; NCH Medical Group Inc.; Northwest Community Healthcare d/b/a Northwest Community Hospital; and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, alleges negligence in medical care.

Jimmy Cashmore and Lisa Cashmore filed a complaint on July 22 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Jimmy Cashmore.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in March 2015, Jimmy Cashmore sustained permanent physical injury. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for an alleged failure to place a permanent spinal cord stimulator in the same position where a temporary stimulator was placed.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000 plus court costs. They are represented by Patrick A. Salvi II of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in Chicago.
